Enjoy poetry in its finest, and listen to your brothers and sisters reading their poems. Upcoming Fridays join poetry readings from Subud members all over the world. Emmanuel Williams, Renata Reid, Colin Oliver, Daphne Alexopoulou, Rasunah Marsden, Paul Nelson, Miranda Hampton, Reynold Weissinger, Harris Smart and Marius Grose will each give you a Poetry special in a new way.
Every week another poet will read his poems live on Zoom and each will share their work for around 20 minutes.
This week, the poet reading will be Rasunah Marsden
About the author
Rasunah Marsden. Currently Chair, Subud Education Association. Opened 1969, helper from 1981, now honorary helper. Former Subud Canada Chair & Subud Writers International Chair. Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum Studies for thesis, The World Pattern of Process, 2019. Teacher, program coordinator & Associate Dean in language schools, high schools & universities in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Penticton & Vancouver. Editor of Raúl Gatika’s Broken Man Hombre Roto (2015); Anthologized Indigenous Poet & author of Dancing the Rounds (2011); editor of Canada’s first collection of Indigenous creative non-fiction: Crisp Blue Edges (2000). Researcher & Publisher. Elder for Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. Resides in North Vancouver. 4 adult children, 3 grandchildren.
